To the west of Limoges on the northern boundary of the beautiful Parc Naturel Regional Perigord-Limousin is the delightful walled town of Rouchechouart. Corrèze is well known for its beautiful villages, six of which have won the coveted «Most beautiful Villages of France» award.The Limousin region is riddled with rivers and streams ideal of angling.
There are also a number of artificial lakes throughout the region where water-sports of all descriptions are available. Most have canoes, windsurfing boards and small motor launches for hire. Sandy beaches and plenty of refreshment places make these a good day out with the family.
